Right of withdrawal
Right of withdrawal – what does it mean?
As a consumer, you have the right at MJ Drent Products BV to withdraw an order within 14 days after receipt without giving any reason. This means you can cancel the purchase and return the products, after which you will receive a full refund.
This right is established in European consumer law and applies to almost all online purchases.
When does the withdrawal period start?
The 14-day period starts on the day after you:
- you have received the product
- or, when you have ordered multiple products in one order, on the day you have received the last product
- or, when a product consists of multiple parts, on the day you have received the last part
How can you use the right of withdrawal?
You can notify your withdrawal in several ways:
- By sending us a clear statement that you want to withdraw from the purchase
- By using the model withdrawal form (not mandatory)
- By sending an email to our customer service
As soon as we have received your notification, we will send a confirmation.
Returning the product
After notifying the withdrawal you have 14 days time to return the product.
Please note:
- The product must, if reasonably possible, be in its original condition
- You may assess the product as you would be allowed to in a physical store
- Any depreciation due to further use may be charged
Refund
After receiving the return shipment, we pay:
- the full purchase amount
- including the standard shipping costs of the original order
We refund via the same payment method you used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
For some products, the right of withdrawal does not apply, such as:
- Opened or used care products that are no longer sellable for hygienic reasons
- Products that are custom-made or personalized
- Products that can spoil quickly
When a product cannot be returned, we always clearly state this on the product page.
